Soul-Care and Spiritual Direction
Over the past 25 years, Jennifer and Jeromy Deibler have had a growing desire to work inside the local community caring for others and helping people discover what God is really like. So in 2021 they decided to leave California and move back to Franklin TN (near Nashville) to settle a little closer to family and begin to build this dream together - what they have decided to call Return & Rest.
Through spiritual direction, artist-care, group gatherings, and re-integration with nature, Jeromy and Jennifer hope that Return & Rest can help people reconnect with themselves, God, and others, all to better understand what God is really like. The long-term dream includes a sabbath house and a gathering space on the small farm they are building in middle Tennessee, and the leading of retreats and experiences that allow people to return to God and nature. They’ll also be creating resources and literature that can accompany this different rhythm of life.
But the real work is one-on-one, listening, caring, helping people reflect on their lives, feel their feelings, and make sense of their pain, while inviting Jesus into all of it. For more information or to schedule a session with Jeromy click the schedule link below.
Session and Meeting Options
1 Private Sessions
One-time, weekly, or bi-weekly sessions. Best for someone new to spiritual direction or returning after some time away. This is the most popular approach because it allows for enough time to really build a foundation of vulnerability and friendship.
2 SoulCare Groups
One-time sessions for direction in artist care and music business related decisions. Areas include A&R, songwriting, publishing, record label relations, managerial insight, touring and travel coaching, and of course, the heart of the artist.
3 Artist Coaching and Consulting
One-time sessions for direction in artist care and music business related decisions. Areas include A&R, songwriting, publishing, record label relations, managerial insight, touring and travel coaching, and of course, the heart of the artist.
Return and Rest
Many people who need specialized spiritual care and emotional healing, especially those making a living in the artistic community, can’t afford it. And in many cases, their pastors (those who could possibly offer free care) can’t dedicate the time needed for long-term support. The Deiblers hope that Return & Rest can meet their needs with specialized emotional support that isn’t constricted by time or financial necessity. Return & Rest is a 501C3 nonprofit charitable organization registered with the IRS and the Secretary of State for the state of Tennessee. All contributions are tax deductible.
